MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS, COLD AND STILL WINDY….
Still plenty of wind to deal with in the wake of yesterday’s
powerful storm system. A mix of sun and clouds have been the
theme today, however temperatures have been struggling to get
out of the 20s. Add the gusty winds and it feels like it’s
mainly in the teens today.. brrr!
Frequent gusts over 40mph have been occurring today with a peak
gust so far measured at 46mph. The average speed for the day
thus far is around 21mph out of the WNW to NW!
Visibility is good, but not as great as one might think
considering how low the dew point is. Generally we’re seeing
around 60 miles early this afternoon, up from 40 miles early
this morning.
The high so far today is 32F which occurred back at midnight,
this is 2 degrees below the normal high of 34F. The low since
midnight is 23F, which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 18F.
