MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN THIS MORNING, THEN INCREASING SUNSHINE….
More clouds than sun was the theme this morning, but clouds
have diminished in coverage as we progress through the early
afternoon hours. It has been brisk all day, so despite
temperatures rising into the upper 40s, there is still a bit
of a chill in the air. This chill is becoming even more
noticeable as the dew point slips into the mid 20s.
As mentioned, the wind has been busy, averaging around 13mph
for the day so far. We’ve seen gusts as high as 30-35mph
earlier this morning. The gusts have lessened as the day
progresses, but we’re still seeing occasional gusts of
20-25mph.
Visibility was limited a bit this morning to around 40 miles,
but has improved markedly early this afternoon, to a perfect
90 miles as the air continues to dry out.
The high so far today is 49F, which is 12 degrees above the
normal maximum of 37F. The low since midnight is 34F, which
is 15 degrees above the normal low of 19F.
