BRIEF SUN THIS MORNING OVERTAKEN BY OCEAN CLOUDS, STILL COLD….

As high pressure passes to the north and a very weak low pressure
system passes to the south, an onshore flow has developed across
the region. A low stratocumulus deck of clouds developed over the
ocean thanks to the cold air moving over the relatively warm
ocean waters. This cloud deck has since spread inland leaving us
with overcast skies. A few flurries have even been observed
between noon and 1 P.M.

Wind has been on the light side today, generally out of a north to
northeast direction. The average speed has been around 11 mph with
a peak gust of just under 20mph.

Visibility hasn’t been great at all today, holding around 25-30
miles due to haziness/thin smoke.

The high so far today is 29F, this is 6 degrees below the normal
high of 35F. The low since midnight is 16F, which is 1 degree
below the normal minimum of 17F.
