A HOT AND BREEZY DAY ON TOP OF GREAT BLUE HILL….
The visibility increased slightly as the day went on, rising
from 20 miles at our first and second observations to
30 miles by our third observation, as humidity and haze
decreased. Humidity went from 85% this morning to
57% by 1 P.M. The daily record high temperature is 95F,
set in 1948. So far today we have reached a high of 92F
by 1 P.M. This is 15 degrees warmer than our normal
daily average of 77F. Winds from the WSW were moderate today,
with a couple of gusts of 20 kts (23 MPH).
