MUCH NEEDED RAIN ON THE WAY AS CLOUDS MOVE
INTO THE REGION
Skies that were mostly clear yesterday morning had
plenty of high cirrus and cirrostratus increasing
by the 7:00 and 10:00 AM EST observations today.
Low cumulus could be seen creeping in from the WSW
all morning as well.
By the 1:00 PM EST observation today 81F had been
reached as a maximum temperature, with visibility
of approximately 65 miles in most directions. Cirrostratus
present mostly south and west have advanced very little
this morning as indicated by radar and satellite as well.
Ahead of tomorrow’s expected rainfall, our station
holds a deficit of -1.40 inches of rain for the month,
and -2.76 inches for the year as of yesterday.
