A VERY WELCOME HALF INCH OF RAIN BY EARLY AFTERNOON
WITH THE ABSENCE OF RAIN THIS MONTH THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF
SUNSHINE…80 PERCENT SUNSHINE THROUGH 9 DAYS FIGURED SO FAR

Light rain became moderate to briefly heavy during by around noon with
close to 0.30 inch in the hour ending at 12 noon EST. The total by
2 P.M. EDT was 0.50 inch in the standard gage with just very light
rain occurring. Temperatures were edging up to 68 degrees with a
68-degree dew point.
It’s been an amazingly sunny month with 80% of the possible sun-
shine through the first 9 days.
