MORNING CLOUDS GIVE WAY TO SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON, QUITE MILD…
Cloudy skies with thin fog early this morning have transitioned
to mainly sunny skies with hazy conditions. Temperatures warmed
nicely into the low 60s late this morning, but has since dropped
back into the mid 50s thanks to the development of a sea-breeze
early this afternoon. Despite the slightly cooler air, it’s still
quite a nice day here on the hill.
As mentioned, the wind had been quite light this morning with an
average speed of only around 7mph, however it has picked up some
now that it has become onshore.
Visibility has improved from around 15 miles early this morning,
to around 35-40 miles early this afternoon.
The high temperature so far today is 62F, which is 11 degrees
above the normal maximum temperature for today of 51F. The low
since midnight is 40F, which is 7 degrees above our normal
minimum temperature of 33F.
