SUNSHINE THIS MORNING GAVE WAY TO CLOUDS BY NOON; BREEZY AND COOL…

Sunshine dominated early this morning following a very photogenic
sunrise. However, as heating from the sun increased mid to late
morning, clouds increased in number and coverage. Skies have become
overcast early this afternoon.

The temperature rose nicely this morning prior to the clouds taking
over, with readings reaching the mid to upper 50s. However readings
have dropped back to the low 50s early this afternoon.

The wind increased during the morning hours becoming pretty gusty
into the afternoon. Several gusts over 30mph have been recorded.
The average speed for the day so far is around 14mph.

Visibility has been rather decent today, rising from around 35 miles
early this morning to around 70 miles for the balance of the day.

The high temperature so far today is 57F degrees, which is 1
degree below the normal high of 58F. The low since midnight
is 46F degrees, which is 7 degrees above the normal low of 39F.
