ANOTHER DAY FULL OF SUNSHINE WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES….

It’s been another splendid day here atop Blue Hill with mainly
sunny skies, a nice breeze, and above normal temperatures.

Temperatures have warmed into the mid to upper 60s early this
afternoon. Its not as warm as yesterday, but still excellent for
this time of year, considering what we all know can and often
does happen during spring in eastern Massachusetts. With the
dew point in the 30s, the air is nice and dry, so it feels quite
comfortable out there today.

The wind has been pretty steady at around 10mph (on average)
most of the day. Much like yesterday, it has gotten a bit gusty
as the atmosphere mixes from the day-time heating. Gusts have
reached between 25-30mph at times with a peak officially of
around 29mph occurring just before noon.

Visibility has been excellent all day thanks to the dry air mass.
The view has been holding around 70 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 66F degrees, which is 9
degrees above the normal high of 57F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 44F degrees, which is 6 degrees above the normal low
of 38F.
