MONDAY’S AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 64 SITS 18 DEGREES
ABOVE THE 30-YEAR NORM…DAILY AVERAGE WIND SPEED
OF 27.5 MPH IS WINDIEST SINCE JANUARY 2013

The high temperature of 73F was far below the record high
of 80F set for yesterday’s date in 1945. Monday’s midnight
to midnight minimum of 55F ties the highest minimum recorded
for this date set back in 1909.

The winds continue to roar from the S to SW with rain on the
way this afternoon following a brief period of clearing late
this morning. By the 7:00 AM EST observation 0.07 inches of
rain had fallen ahead of what is expected to be a significant
soaking this evening.

Rain, fog and low stratus increased once more by the 1:00 PM EST
observation with winds gusting to a peak of 55 MPH so far.
