Tim Kelley hosts an exciting new webinar “Model Mayhem: Meteorological Forecasting Madness – A Discussion” on Feb. 2, 2022 from 11am to 12:30pm

Weather historian and renowned meteorologist for thirty-five years, Tim Kelley, will be joined by an esteemed panel of four veteran meteorologists who are all graduates of Lyndon State College in the 1980s. Tim and the panel will share their experiences with weather forecast guidance products, and will discuss the advances they have witnessed during their thirty-five year careers.

On the panel:
  • Russ Murley: President at National Weather Forecasting, Inc, two-years and Operations Manager, Precision Weather Service thirty-years.
  • Weir Lundstedt: recently retired from the National Weather Service after a thirty-five year career.
  • Tony Petrarca: WPRI TV 12 Meteorologist Providence, thirty-five years
  • Jim Cantore: Weather Channel Meteorologist, thirty-five years
Participants will learn how weather forecasting models work and how they often differ in forecasting output. Time will be left for questions and answers.
