ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

THE SPECTACULAR EARLY SEPTEMBER WEATHER CONTINUES….

High pressure remains in control of our weather with yet another
day featuring plenty of bright sunshine under clear skies. Some
cirrus clouds associated with a low pressure system well to the
south-southeast can now be seen off to the distant ESE-SSW.
Also some small cumulus can be seen off to the distant WNW-N.
There is a very thin smoke layer visible aloft as well, creating
a slightly milky look to the sky, however it has not been thick
enough to diminish the sun at all.

Temperatures are a bit cooler than yesterday, but still right
around seasonal levels for the date. Readings have reached the
mid-upper 70s early this afternoon. The dew point remains within
very comfortable levels with values generally dropping from the
mid 50s early this morning to the upper 40s.

The wind has been a bit inconsistent today. It was oscillating
from light and variable to being steady around 10mph at times. It
seems to have finally settled out of the southeast for the past
3 hours or so with a bit more velocity. The average speed for the
day so far is only around 8mph. The peak gust thus far is 20mph,
which occurred just after the 1pm observation.

Visibility is a bit lower than yesterday, spending all morning
around 60 miles, but it has slipped a bit early this afternoon
to around 50 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 77F, which is equal to
the normal high of 77F. The minimum temperature since midnight is
58F, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 59F.
