CLOUDY AND COOL WITH RAIN SHOWERS DEVELOPING….
Clouds are once again dominating the sky today as a weather system
approaches the region. Light rain showers developed mid to late
this morning, but have been rather light to this point. 0.01″ has
fallen so far through the 1pm observation.
Temperatures are once again below normal today with readings reaching
the mid 60s. Dew points have risen to the mid 60s as well, so it
feels a bit humid out there today.
The wind was generally on the light side early this morning, but has
been gradually increasing as the day progresses. A southeast wind
has veered to a south wind as we reached the early afternoon. The
average speed for the day so far is around 10mph. The peak gust for
the day so far is 21mph, which occurred just after the 1pm
observation.
Visibility has been limited all day due to thin fog and rain showers.
The view has generally been 20 miles or less today.
The maximum temperature so far today is 66F, which is 3 degrees below
the normal high of 69F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 56F,
which is 4 degrees above the normal low of 52F.
