HEAVY RAIN LAST EVENING, BUT SUNSHINE RETURNS ALONG WITH LOWERING
HUMIDITY LEVELS TODAY….

Torrential downpours moved over the Hill during the early
evening hours yesterday leaving over an inch of water in the
gauge in under 1 hour. The total rainfall for the day yesterday
amounted to 1.92″.

Quiet weather returned today with mainly sunny skies and a
northwest breeze that’s helping to advect a drier airmass into
the region. The dew point has dropped from the mid 60s prior to
sunrise into the mid to upper 50s late this morning and early
this afternoon. Definitely feels much better than it has for the
last 2 weeks or so.

The temperature has warmed into the mid 70s, as such it’s a very
comfortable day out there.

While the wind hasn’t been all that impressive, it has been pretty
steady through the day. The average speed thus far is around 9mph,
with a peak gust of 24mph occurring just after 8am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent all day with views of 60-70 miles!

The maximum temperature so far today has been 74F, which is
equal to the normal high of 74F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 61F, which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 56F.
