INCREASING WEST WINDS GUSTING NEAR 40 MPH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
Some early morning cloudiness quickly cleared away this
morning as a cooler and drier air mass was arriving on
increasingly gusty west winds. Dew points dropped from the upper
30’s early this morning to near 30-34 degrees by early afternoon
with a relative humidity nearing 30%. The highest temperature has
reached the low 60’s, some 10 degrees cooler than yesterday.
The light showers Tuesday afternoon and early yesterday morning
left only 0.02 inch of rainfall despite downpours in the local
area early yesterday morning.
Our peak gust on the R.M. Young through early afternoon is 39 MPH.
