WINDY WITH CLEAR SKIES AND EXCELLENT VISIBILITY….

Today has been mostly clear, with a couple cumulus clouds
in the distance. Visibility is excellent at 85 miles. Wind
is north westerly at 25 mph on average, with a max gust of
33 mph. The precipitation deficit which is currently
0.88 ins. under for the month and 5.53 ins. under for the
season….

The drought monitor was updated today revealing yet
another escalation. 70% of MA now in a “severe drought”
and 40% considered in an “extreme drought” (approximately
Boston to Providence and points south and east).
