FIRST FREEZE OF THE SEASON, NO SNOW OBSERVED YET
The first freeze of the season occurred near midnight last night which
is one week later than the usual freeze date of October 20. Temps
continued to drop to an overnight low of 28F this morning. Mostly cloudy
skies brought light rain shortly before the 1:00PM EST observation, but
no snow had yet been observed. Visibility gradually diminished from
70 miles to 25 miles throughout the day.
