ABUNDANT SUNSHINE, BUT CONTINUED ON THE COOL SIDE….

Today has been another decent day with plenty of sun, low
humidity levels, and a more gentle breeze than yesterday. There
is definitely the feel of fall out there today which is
quite fitting for the start of October.

Temperatures are again on the cool side today with readings
starting the day in the low to mid 40s and only recovering to
just above 60F by early this afternoon. This is again a bit
below normal for early October. Dew point values have been in
the low 40s all day, giving another very refreshing day to the
region.

The wind has been lighter today than yesterday, but generally
steady ouf of the north to northeast. The average speed for
the day so far is around 10mph. The peak gust so far today is
28mph, which occurred just before 12:45am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today, holding at around 80
miles all day!

The maximum temperature so far today is 61F degrees, which is
5 degrees below the normal high of 66F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 43F degrees, which is 6 degrees below the
normal low of 49F.
