SPECTACULAR FALL DAY WITH SUNSHINE, MILD TEMPS, AND DRY AIR…

Today is another excellent weather day with mainly sunny skies
this morning filling with mainly fair weather cumulus clouds this
afternoon. Varying amounts of altocumulus have also moved across
the sky at times today as well.

The air is very comfortable with temperatures reaching the upper
60’s and low 70s early this afternoon, with dew point readings
gradually increasing from the low 40s to the mid 40s. Today is a
perfect day for hiking or other outdoor activities!

Winds have been light today with an average speed of only around
4mph. While the direction has been varying at times, the
prevailing direction has been from the west so far. The peak
gust so far has only been around 16mph, rather anemic to say
the least.

Visibility has been decent with a view of around 50 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today has been 70F, which is 8
degrees above the normal high of 62F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 51F, which is 6 degrees above the normal low
of 45F.
