MILDER TEMPERATURES AND LIGHTER WINDS UNDER PLENTY OF SUNSHINE…
The arctic air mass has departed the region leaving us with much
more comfortable temperatures today. The bright sunshine and
lighter wind is making it feel warmer today than the past couple
of days. Not a bad day to get any last minute raking of leaves
done.
Temperatures have reached the mid 40s early this afternoon, which
is actually around normal levels for this date. The dew point has
been inching upwards as well with readings in the low teens early
this morning reaching the low 20s early this afternoon.
As mentioned, the wind has been much lighter today with an average
speed of only around 9mph to this point. The peak gust so far is
around 20mph.
Visibility has been limited today due to haziness stuck below an
inversion. The view has only been between 30-40 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 45F degrees, this is
equal to the normal high of 45F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 27F, this is 2 degrees below the normal low of 29F.
