SPLENDID SPRING WEATHER WITH COOLER AIR UNDER PARTIAL SUNSHINE….
Today has been wonderful with a generally gentle breeze,
cooler temperatures, and clearer air. The wildfire smoke that
has been plaguing our skies in recent days has moved out,
leaving us with blue skies! Fair weather cumulus clouds are
dotting the sky making for a nice mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures are considerably cooler than yesterday, with
readings only getting into the low to mid 60s today. With a
dew point in the upper 30s, there is a bit of a coolness to the
air. Perfect conditions for a hike or walk, or to be working
outside.
The wind has been on the gentle side, generally averaging around
10mph for the day so far.
Visibility has been quite decent today, holding at around 65
miles as the hazy air has also moved out of the region.
The high temperature so far today is 64F, which is 5 degrees
below the normal high of 69F. The low since midnight is 47F,
which is 4 degrees below the normal low of 51F.
