A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS WITH WARMING TEMPERATURES TODAY AT BLUE HILL….
A mix of sun and clouds this morning has transitioned to more
of a clear sky this afternoon, as such a very pleasant day is
ongoing with warming temperatures and comfortable humidity
levels.
Temperatures have warmed into the mid-upper 60s this afternoon
making for quite a nice afternoon. The dew point has been
gradually rising from the mid 40s early this morning to the mid
50s this afternoon. Despite this increase in the moisture content
of the air, it’s still comfortable.
The wind has been southerly today with a decrease in speeds
from this morning into this afternoon. Winds were gusting just
over 30mph for a time this morning, but has gone to light speeds
this afternoon. The average speed for the day so far is around
12mph. The peak gust to this point has been 32mph, which occurred
around 7:15am this morning.
Visibility has been gradually increasing since early this morning
with the view going from around 20 miles this morning to around
40 miles early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 68F degrees, which is
