RAINY AND RAW OUTSIDE TODAY….

Today has been rather wet with cool temperatures and a noticeable breeze.
For the 24 hour period ending at 7am this morning, we received
1.12″ of rain, with an additional 0.34″ falling by 1pm. The intensity
of the rain has been light for the most part.

Temperatures, as mentioned previously, have remained on the cool side
today. We began the morning in the low 50s and have only slowly climbed
into the mid 50s. The dew point has followed the same trend.

Winds have been out of the east-northeast throughout the day, with an
average speed of 14mph so far. The peak gust took place just after 2am
this morning, with a speed of 32mph.

Visibility has remained poor today. The low cloud deck and precipitation
has limited views to 1/4-3 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 56F degrees, which is 11
degrees below the normal high of 67F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 52F degrees, which is 4 degrees above the normal low of
48F.
