ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
Today we observed almost clear skies this morning
turning into partly cloudy skies as the day went on.
Visibility was great at 75 miles, and conditions
were dry considering the dew point was near freezing
despite temperatures in the mid 60’s. The humidity was
30% at the 1 P.M. observation. Some possible rainfall
was visible to the southwest at the 10 A.M. observation,
but there is some doubt as to whether or not it hit the
ground (due to how dry it was at the surface layer).
The average wind speed is around 10 mph from the northwest
with a gust of only 21 mph since 7 A.M.
The high so far today is 67F, this is a degree
above the normal high of 66F. The low since midnight
is 45F, which is 2 degrees below the daily normal low
of 47F.
