DREARY WEATHER TODAY WITH PERIODS OF RAIN AND FOG…

Rain! That about sums everything up for today. Another wet day
is in progress in what’s been a very wet month. 0.40″ of water
was measured through 7am with an additional 0.29″ measured at
1pm. The monthly total is quickly approaching 8″, and will
likely be there (or exceed) by tomorrow morning! The normal
amount for all of March is 5.52″.

Temperatures are not terrible considering all the cloud cover
and rain. Readings have been generally holding in mid to upper
40s, which is about normal for this time of year in terms of
the daily high temperature.

Winds have been quite light and generally variable today. The
average speed for the day so far is only around 5mph. The peak
gust so far is only 16mph, occurring just after 4am this morning.

Visibility is quite limited as one would expect as we are in
the clouds (fog). The view has ranged from 1/16 to upto 1 mile
at times so far today.

The maximum temperature so far today is 49F degrees, which
is 1 degree above the normal high of 48F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 43F degrees, which is 12 degrees above the
normal low of 31F.
