DIMINISHING WIND AND MILDER TEMPS WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS…

A mix of sun and clouds has been the theme today with seasonably
mild temperatures this afternoon. The air is rather dry today
with the dew point in the upper teens to around 20F. This, along
with the breeze, has added a decided chill to the air despite the
milder air temperature in the mid 40s.

The wind has been gusty, but with a diminishing trend as the day
progresses. Gusts early this morning were still approaching 30mph,
but down to only around 20mph this afternoon. The average speed
for the day so far is around 14mph, which is considerably lower
than yesterday.

Visibility is excellent today with views of around 70 miles being
the rule.

The high so far today is 46F, which is 2 degrees above the normal
maximum of 44F. The low temperature since midnight is 29F, which
is 2 degrees above the normal low of 27F.
