GREAT BLUE HILL….
Today was cool and partly cloudy with hazy conditions,
but visibility was a decent 60 miles at the 1 P.M.
observation. A passing shower was observed shortly before
10 A.M., but only left a trace; if anything in the gauge.
Wind was easterly and lighter in comparison to yesterday.
Speeds were 10 mph at most with a gust of 22 mph earlier
on this morning. Dew points remain in the upper 50’s while
temperatures have climbed into the mid 70’s.
Rainfall totals continue to disappoint, as we are -1.57
inches from normal on the month and -6.59 inches from
normal on the year. We are currently in a moderate drought!
The high so far today is 76F, which is 2 degrees below the normal
maximum of 78F. The low since midnight is 58F, which is 2
degrees below the normal minimum of 60F.
