PLENTY OF SUNSHINE WITH A WARMER AIR MASS WORKING INTO THE
REGION….
Sunshine has reigned supreme today with only a few cumulus
clouds popping up and a very thin scattered layer of cirrus.
Temperatures are warmer than they have been the past few
days with readings pushing into the low 80s early this
afternoon. The dew point has been generally holding in the
mid 50s, thus humidity levels aren’t much of an issue yet.
Winds have been steady through the day so far with an average
speed of around 9mph, mainly out of the west. The peak gust for
the day so far is 20mph, which occurred just before the 1pm
observation.
Visibility has been gradually decreasing, from around 50 miles
early this morning down to around 40 miles early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 82F degrees, which is
7 degrees above the normal high of 75F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 57F degrees, which is equal to the normal low
of 57F.
