Yesterday’s trace of rain fell after 8:00 AM EST,
with heavier showers and thunderstorms staying to our
south yesterday afternoon and evening. Precipitation for
the month, still at 0.61 inches, is now 0.27 inches below
the norm so far for the month of July, with a deficit
of 2.84 inches for the year.

A northeasterly flow off the ocean has kept temperatures
in a much more comfortable range, topping out at 72F by
the 1:00 PM EST observation with mostly cloudy skies
this morning.
