RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS EARLY THIS MORNING,
NEW DAILY RECORD MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 58F
This morning saw another round of rain and gusting
winds as low pressure swept through the area.
Although not as strong as the previous morning, winds
were gusting near 40 MPH. Rainfall totaled 0.14 in.
Skies were not as quick to clear today with mostly
cloudy skies remaining in place through the early
afternoon. Distant fog persisted through the day
and prevented visibility from being greater than
30 miles during observations.
Temperatures continue to be quite mild for the time
of year. The max. by 1:00PM of 58F is 24F above normal
and a new daily high temperature record for this day.
It surpasses the previous record of 57F set in 1913 and
tied 1975.
