SUNSHINE TO START THE DAY, BECOMING CLOUDY BY THE AFTERNOON…

Sunshine was the theme this morning with a very nice sunrise
observed from the hill. Clouds however quickly enveloped
the sky, leaving us with overcast conditions by early this
afternoon.

The temperature warmed into the upper 40s before slipping
back a bit to the mid 40s. Anyway you slice it, it’s very
mild by February standards. Tomorrow will be even warmer
with record warmth possible. The record high for tomorrow’s
date is 56F degrees set back in 1909. We have a very decent
shot at breaking this record. Stay tuned!

The wind today has been on the light side, backing from the
west-northwest this morning, to the south this afternoon.
The average speed for the day has only been around 7mph.

Visibility started off the day around 60 miles, but has
slipped to 50 miles by the 1pm observation, as rain develops
to the west.

The high so far today is 47F degrees, which is 11 degrees
above the normal maximum of 36F. The low since midnight is
33F degrees, which is 15 degrees above the normal minimum
of 18F.
