SNOWY MORNING WITH WIND INCREASING
SLIGHTLY IN THE AFTERNOON….
We measured 3.5 inches of snow this morning
following last night’s event, and 0.25 inches
of liquid equivalent to that amount. Light
snow was observed this morning, ending well
before 11 A.M. Wind was below 10 mph on average
this morning, but has increased since then; with
a max gust so far of 18 mph after noontime. Ponds
remain frozen overnight throughout the uniform and
loosely packed snowfall. The high so far today is
28F, 12 degrees below the normal daily maximum
of 40F. The low since midnight is 15F, 7 degrees
below the normal minimum of 22F.
