MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES BRINGS LIGHT SNOW IN EARLY AFTERNOON

Skies today were mostly cloudy with small breaks only seen in the early
morning. Light snow began to fall at Blue Hill just before noon, but it was
still melting as it hit the ground by the 1:00 P.M. EST observation. Only a
trace of precipitation was measured. Visibility decreased from 60-70 miles
in the morning to 8 miles as the snow began to fall. Temperatures earlier this
morning were around 30F, but they rose just above freezing in the early afternoon.
Pressure fell rapidly as the storm moved closer to Blue Hill.
