OVERCAST YET WARMER WITH LIGHT RAIN….
Today we observed overcast conditions with a decent
visibility this morning of 60 miles. This decreased
to 20 miles this afternoon as a thin layer of fog set
in. Rain began a little after 8 A.M., however lightly.
We measured only 0.01 inches by the 1 P.M. observation.
Wind is northeasterly, increasing as the day went on.
Speed is currently a little over 10 mph with frequent
gusts around 20 mph.
Any rainfall coming up would be greatly appreciated
as we’re in mid-December with an annual deficit of
-12.47 inches!
The high so far today is 38F, which is 2 degrees below
the normal maximum of 40F. The low since midnight is 30F,
which is 5 degrees above the normal minimum of 25F.
