MAINLY SUNNY SKIES, BUT COLDER AND LESS WIND TODAY AT BLUE HILL….

Skies were clear all morning, but some scattered mid and high
level clouds are floating by early this afternoon. All in all
it’s a nice day despite the chilly air.

Temperatures are on the cold side for this time of year with
readings only reaching the low to mid 30s early this afternoon.
The dew point has been holding fairly steady in the low to mid
teens all day. So the air is very dry adding more chill to the
air.

The wind has been lighter today than the past couple of days.
It’s been mainly out of a northwesterly direction, with an average
speed for the day thus far of around 9mph. The peak gust for the
day so far is around 26mph which occurred around 5am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent all day with a view of 70-80 miles!

The maximum temperature for today is 34F degrees, this is 7 degrees
below the normal high of 41F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 22F degrees, this is 3 degrees below the normal low of 25F.
