CLOUDING OVER WITH A CHILLY WEST WIND FOLLOWING YESTERDAY’S
RAINFALL….

We observed increasing cloud cover as the day went on,
with skies being almost overcast by the 1 P.M. observation.
Wind is cold and westerly with speeds around 25 mph and frequent
gusts over 35 mph. The highest gust seen so far today is almost
50 mph with yesterday’s gust being 63 mph from the south.

Yesterday’s weather left us with 0.96 inches of rainfall. This
puts a small dent in the yearly deficit of 11.40 inches and a
monthly deficit of 0.92 inches to finish off November.

Visibility increased considerably as the day went on, going
from 40 miles in the morning to 85 miles at the 1 P.M. observation.

The high so far today is 40F, which is 5 degrees below the
normal maximum of 45F. The low since midnight is 30F, which is
a degree above the normal low of 29F.
