CLOUDS THIS MORNING DISSIPATED LEAVING US WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE….
Clouds lingered into the late morning hours, then dissipated
giving us plenty of sun early this afternoon. The wildfire smoke
has finally departed the area as well, so it’s nice to see a deep
blue sky again.
Temperatures have warmed back toward normal levels with readings
reaching the low 80s. Dew point values, which were around 60F
early this morning, have dropped nicely to around 50 by early this
afternoon. This is making it feel quite comfortable and refreshing
out there despite the warmer temperature.
The wind has been rather light and variable, but with a pendant
to being mostly onshore. The average speed for the day so far is
only around 5mph. The peak gust so far for the day is 14mph, which
occurred at 1:30pm this afternoon.
Visibility is much better today than it has been and improving
as the day progresses. It started the day around 20 miles early
this morning, but has bumped up to 40 miles early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 80F degrees, which is
2 degrees below the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 61F degrees, which is 3 degrees below the
normal low of 64F.
