ISOLATED T-STORMS BUILD ON BACK-TO-BACK DAYS

Clear mornings have led to building cumulus and
the development of several isolated thunderstorms
both yesterday afternoon and today. Cloud to ground
lightning with thunder was observed in one isolated
cell north and  west of the station at 12:09 EST
moving east.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation skies were chaotic
with a strong thunderstorm cell ENE of the station
along the shore. A towering cumulus was just SW of
the station as well. A maximum of 78F had been reached
with only a trace of rain recorded during a very brief
shower.
