WIND FROM THE NORTHWEST BRINGS COOLER TEMPERATURES TO
GREAT BLUE HILL TODAY…

Yesterday we had a record breaking high minimum temperature
of 75F. This breaks the previous record of 74F, set back in
1948. Visibility increased from 20 miles at 7:00 A.M. to 70
miles at 1:00 P.M. Humidity decreased as the day went on,
leading to this better visibility. Wind shifted from the SW
to the NW, leading to cooler temperatures on top of Great
Blue Hill. The temperature increased to a high so far today
of 86F at 1:00 P.M. Cloud cover increased throughout the
day, with a consistent cirrostratus and an increase in
cumulus clouds into the afternoon.
