PLENTY OF SUNSHINE THIS MORNING, THEN INCREASING CLOUDS….

We started the day with clear skies and plenty of sunshine,
but as the day has progressed, clouds have been on the increase
as we moved through the late morning and early afternoon hours.
So far, the clouds have been mainly of the cirrus variety, thus
filtered sunshine is still being observed.

Temperatures have warmed into the mid to upper 70s after
starting the day once again in the mid 50s. Dew point values
are very comfortable for this time of year with readings
dropping into the upper 40s!

The wind has been fairly steady today averaging at around 9mph.
It started off out of the west-northwest, but has backed around
more to the west-southwest as we got into the early afternoon
hours. The peak gust for the day so far is 22mph, which occurred
just before 11:40am this morning.

Visibility is quite decent again today with a view of around
70 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 77F degrees, which is
2 degrees below the normal high of 79F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 54 degrees, which is 7 degrees below the
normal low of 61F.
