HOTTER THAN IT WAS YESTERDAY WITH ABOUT THE SAME DEW POINTS….

Today is again very hot and humid with dew points hanging in
the low 70’s. Hiking today is not recommended, and a heat advisory
was given out by the National Weather Service for most of the region
until Friday night. Visibility was limited to around 40 miles for most
of the day, with a max of 45 miles being seen at the 1 P.M. observation.
There is also an air quality alert for the area!

The wind has shifted more westerly today, with an average speed of 10 mph
and a max gust around 22 mph.  

The high so far today is 89F, 8 degrees above the daily normal
maximum of 81F. The low so far today is 71F, which is 8 degrees
