COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES, BUT ABUNDANT SUNSHINE IS MAKING
FOR A WONDERFUL DAY….

What a nice day today with clear skies providing for plenty of
sunshine. Only a few mid level clouds have been observed well
off in the distance offshore the South Coast, and some early
this afternoon seen over Vermont!

Temperatures are below normal today with readings only reaching
the low 50s, which is nearly 10 degrees below the expected high
for today. The dew point has been stuck in the teens all day, so
the air mass is quite dry.

The wind started the day on the brisk side, but has decreased to
light speeds for the balance of the day. Its been generally out
of the north averaging at around 9mph for the day so far. The peak
gust so far is 25mph, which occurred before 4am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today despite the presence of a
bit of haziness due to mainly pollen. The view has been around
70 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 52F degrees, which is
9 degrees below the normal high of 61F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 29F degrees, which is 13 degrees below the
normal low of 42F.
