STUCK IN THE CLOUDS TODAY WITH VERY LOW VISIBILITY AND DEVELOPING
LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS….

After a few fairly nice days, today has finally turned the other
way. We’ve been stuck in the clouds all day with the visibility
getting no higher than 1/8th of a mile. Some intermittent drizzle
was observed this morning, but light rain showers moved into the
area during the late morning hours, and have continued off and on
into early this afternoon. So far only 0.03″ of water has been
recorded.

The temperature has only ranged a total of 2 degrees in the last
6 hours ending at 1pm, and only a total of 4 degrees since
midnight. Readings have been stuck in the mid 40s during the day-
light hours thus far.

The wind has been on the light side today, mainly out of a north-
northeast to northeasterly direction. The average speed so far
today has only been around 6mph. The peak gust so far has only
been around 15mph.

As mentioned, visibility has been limited today due to being in
the clouds. It has only ranged between 1/16th to 1/8th of a mile
all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 47F degrees, which is 7
degrees below the normal high of 54F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 42F degrees, which is 6 degrees above the normal low
of 36F.
