PARTLY CLOUDY WITH GREAT VISIBILITY FROM THE SUMMIT….
Today started off foggy with only a 1/16th mile visibility at
the 7 A.M. observation. This was following overnight rainfall
that left 0.59 inches in the gauge. Weather cleared up rather
quickly, and we observed an excellent visibility of 80 miles at
1 P.M. Temps are hanging in the low 70’s with dew points dropping
to the mid 50’s. Some really good weather for a hike.
The high so far today is 72F, 4 degrees above the normal max of
69F. The low since midnight is 60F, 8 degrees above the
normal low of 52F.
