RAINY CONDITIONS CONTINUE ON TOP OF GREAT BLUE HILL…
Yesterday’s rainstorm continued into today with light misty
drizzle in the morning and moderate rain in the afternoon.
So far we have measured 0.33 inches since the rain started
yesterday morning just before 10:00 A.M.
With overcast skies continuing from yesterday, temperatures
and dew points have stayed consistent in the high 50’s.
Wind still from the east/ east-northeast has picked up since
yesterday afternoon, and is averaging between 12-13 MPH.
As the rain intensity increased visibility greatly decreased
throughout the day from 15 miles at 7:00 A.M. down to a
1/2 mile at 1:00 P.M.
The maximum temperature so far today has been 60 F, which is
10 degrees below the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 58F, which is 5 degrees above the normal low
of 53F.
