This has been a good weather observation day, considering the last
three days! Rainfall yesterday morning until the 7 A.M. observation
totaled 1.03 inches, bringing our monthly total to 1.40 inches. This is
much needed, since we are still at a deficit of -1.31 inches on the
month.
We started the day foggy at 10 miles of visibility, improving to 60 miles
by the 1 P.M. observation. Skies were overcast until around noon, where
some sunshine started to break through the clouds.
We’ve experienced a cool breeze from the northeast, averaging 12 mph with
frequent gusts over 20 mph.
The maximum temperature so far today is 63F, which is 7 degrees below
the normal high of 70F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 54F,
which is a degree above the normal low of 53F.
