BREEZY WITH WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS RETURNING FOR A ONE DAY STANDY….

After a few very comfortable fall-like days, summer-like weather
has returned today with the temperature getting into the low 80s
and dew points into the mid 60s. Mainly high clouds have been
seen today allowing for filtered sunshine. Also a smoke layer
well up in the atmosphere is also adding a milky appearance to
the sky and is also filtering the sun to a degree. The smoke is
from wild fires out on the west coast.

The wind has also been busy today mainly out of a west-southwest
direction. Gusts have approached 30mph at times. The average
speed for the day has been around 14mph.

Visibility has been limited to 35 miles or less due to haziness,
likely a result of the added moisture in the air.

The high so far today is 81F, which is 9 degrees above the
normal maximum of 72F. The low since midnight is 57F, which is
2 degrees above the normal minimum of 55F.
