MOSTLY CLEAR AND DRY WITH SOME HAZE HINDERING VISIBILITY…

We observed very little visibility due to a thick fog this morning
at the 7 A.M. observation. The sun broke through around 8 A.M. to
reveal almost clear skies. The humidity has dropped considerably
since then to almost 50%; and dew points have dropped into the low
50’s. Hazy conditions have been observed throughout the day, limiting
visibility to 50 miles despite being under a significant high pressure
center and drier, clearer weather conditions.

Our dry streak continues as we’re halfway through the month of September.
Our rain total for the month so far is only 0.04 inches, 1.66 inches
below the normal for rainfall.

The maximum temperature so far today is 78F, which is 5 degrees
above the normal high of 73F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 60F, which is 4 degrees above the normal low of 56F.
