CLOUDY AND HUMID WITH A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS DEVELOPING….
Cloudy skies have been the theme today with only a brief period
of some filtered sunshine during the mid morning hours. A few
light rain showers have been moving through starting during the
late morning hours into this afternoon. So far only a trace of
rain has been measured.
Temperatures did make it into the mid 70s before the showers
arrived. Since then the mercury has settled back to the low 70s.
The dew point has been on the rise all day as well with readings
pushing the mid 60s early this afternoon. As such, especially
when compared to the past few days, it feels pretty humid out
there today.
The wind has been quite light (translated: boring!) today with
an average speed only around 8mph.
Visibility has been limited to 40 miles all day due to the
increase in moisture in the air.
The high so far today is 76F, which is 1 degree above the
normal maximum of 75F. The low since midnight is 67F, which is
10 degrees above the normal minimum of 57F.
