MOSTLY SUNNY WITH EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AS WE CONTINUE THE DROUGHT
FOR ANOTHER DAY….

We observed a bunch of brush fires to the north, northeast and south
today, beginning around 10 AM. Our monthly rainfall total is 0.53
inches, 4.06 inches below normal. We are currently in a moderate
drought despite higher rain totals earlier on this year.

We continue this stretch of fair weather, with mostly sunny conditions
and an average visibility of 85 miles. The dew point fell to a very
dry 14F, despite temperatures being in the low 50’s.

Wind was northwesterly at a constant speed of 10-15 mph all day, with
frequent gusts around 20 mph. Definite brush fire weather.

The maximum temperature so far today is 53F, which is 4 degrees below
the normal high of 57F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 36F,
which is 4 degrees below the normal low of 40F.
